Sports and more sports!

The football season is winding down.J's season is over,T only has a few more games left.The little ones will be playing basketball.Our kids haven't played basketball in ages so this should be interesting!

J has made a complete turn around this year and I'm so thankful.He's keeping his grades up and working really hard...and staying out of trouble!I was really worried about the little ones being moved up to the big school but so far it's been a good thing.

Things at Shannon's job have been crazy.They say they will be shutting the doors soon.We don't know if he will get a transfer or what.We are keeping our fingers crossed and will deal with whatever comes.I won't say it isn't scary though!

On a different note...my inner spanko has been released....it's weird but fun and I'll leave it at that {wink}

Getting ready for Halloween

We spent the last few days getting the carport ready for the halloween party.The last few years we have had to fight the wind.This year we decided to build a false wall.The wall makes it much better.We had wind,rain and cold weather and it didn't stop us one bit from putting up some of the decorations.

My crew goes crazy over halloween...weirdos lol!Shannon got out all the fog machines and strobe lights and tried it all out.I will admit it was pretty cool! The kids were getting off the bus about the time we had it really going.The bus driver thought our house was on fire lol!The only down side is the two little kids won't go out in the carport alone now lol!I'm sure Shannon will spend every minute of his spare time working on it and coming up with new creepy ideas all the way up to the time for the party.

We decided to do pizza this year again.It was wayyy easier than me making a bunch of stuff.I will be making punch and a couple desserts/snacks.I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet but I want it to go with the theme (chop shop)so it's gotta be good...something with body parts maybe?

Anyway it was nice to spend a couple days together doing something fun!He's back to work now but it all goes well and he gets his three day weekend next week it should be fun.The kids have fall break then which means they will have a four day weekend so it should be some nice family time.I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will be off!

The spanking

It was the reconnection.He apologized for not doing it before and we talk about it some.It wasn't bad as far as spankings go and it was a tad on the fun side.He had purchased a new paddle yesterday and decided to 'test' it out and see if it would make a good paddle for 'nice' spankings.It's very thin so there is no thud at all. The sting vary's a great deal so it could be nice for sure depending on how it's used.Ok that's about as much as I'm willing to say about it lol!

The whole situation got me thinking about some things.One thing is DD is hard sometimes..everyone knows that lol!Why do things get off without spankings?Why was I feeling stupid that it didn't happen rather than say RELIEVED?Why did he become distant when it didn't happen?I guess I feels strange about those things sometimes..it feels kinda messed up!I'm not in the mood to try an figure those things out today though and I'm not sure I really care why it's that way.It works for us so I'm going with that.

What the heck???

Ok so I'm talking to my hubby on the phone while trying to get all my housework done and I say yea I need to blog after I'm done with my stuff.He says no you can wait till after your spanking tonight and blog about it tomorrow....say what? Who said I wanted to blog about that or anything like that.Writing about spanking in general is one thing but writing about a certain spanking is always hard.Then of course now my wheels are turning because I wasn't thinking of this spankings as 'blogable'..is that a word?Now I'm wondering what this spanking is all about...yikes!

Since I will be blogging about it tomorrow I'll give you a bit of background as to how it came about.The last few weeks Shannon has put in alot of hours and been away mostly.We both got busy doing our own things and there was just this tiny disconnect between us nothing big at all.We were getting along just fine and this kind of disconnect(not sure if that's the word that even fits)is pretty normal when we are not seeing each other much.Shannon came to me ummm Friday I believe and said he wanted to give a spanking just a reconnection and nothing big.We discussed it and I agreed...let me stop for a second and say I don't usually agree it's not that I disagree it just that when faced with it it very rarely seems like a good idea{wink}I decided to be totally honest this time and say that yea I felt like he was right and that it was a good idea.I won't go into all the silly details but basically it didn't happen and I was feeling really hmmm.....stupid I guess.At that point there was a big wedge between us rather than the tiny disconnect we had going on before.All that led to him getting upset and saying that later that night we would have a meeting that would involve snakebite.We went to a game in Magum and got back late so no spanking again and again the wedge got much bigger.Stupid things were said and then it was dropped and we had a wonderful weekend together in spite of it all.That brings us to this morning when he calls and says I will be home this evening and you and I are taking a 'drive'(that's code for driving somewhere and getting spanked)I know I said it last time and it didn't happen but unless I'm on a job it will happen so be prepared.

In my mind I was thinking it would be the 'reconnection' that didn't happen but after him saying that I would blog about it tomorrow I'm not so sure.Am I in trouble for some of those 'stupid things' that were said?Did I handle it all wrong?Is he yanking my chain and it will actually be the reconnection?Is this some sorta submission excersise?This kinda thing can drive a girl crazy!!!!
